The Tashkent Aviation and Production Association (TAPAC) has a powerful production and flight testing base and is equipped with the most advanced technologies, highly efficient facilities. TAPAC currently manufactures Ilyushin-76TD (MD) and Ilyushin 76 (TF) MF aircraft. The key base model of these airplanes is the Ilyushin 76 TD, with a payload of 40 tons. Practical length of flight is 4,800 kilometers and at present, over 900 of these superb flying machines provide freight transportation to all continents of the world.

During its 25 years of operation, the IL-76 has from the beginning been continents of the world. During its 25 years of operation, the IL-76 has from the beginning been constantly modernized and the wide range of modifications has resulted in the production of planes each having their own particular application. Another avenue of TAPAC's activities is a full-scale production of new llyushin-1 14 aircraft for 64 passengers as well as cargo and combined versions of the same airplane. With the aim of achieving competitiveness of the llyushin-1 14, TAPAC and the Canadian company Pratt & Whitney have created a modernized version of the llyushin-1 14-100 with RW-127H engines. Apart from the above, TAPAC supplies clients with spares for Antonov-8. Antonov-12, and llyushin-76 aircraft, which were manufactured earlier. Warranty and major overhaul works are also conducted. A shareholding company named Uzavialeasing was set up with a goal to create the necessary conditions for successful export of TAPAC products. TAPAC is on the lockout for outside investors prepared to invest capital in a project to modernize the IL-1 14 and IL-76 TF (MF) aircrafts. True cooperation in the various aspects of manufacturing, sharing responsibilities and constantly exchanging experiences between partners opens great scope for partnership on all continents.
