Railways
- Uzbekistan Temir Yullari (Uzbek Railway), has a total operational length of approximately 3,641 kilometers, with a handling capacity of up to 200 million tons per year. There are 244 stations, including four sorting yards, two passenger stations, 1 1 branch stations, and 80 freight terminals. In addition, 183 stations are open for receiving and handling freight. A new railway line - Tedjen-Serakhs-Meshkhed - was commissioned and is part of the Transasian Main Railroad, connecting Beijing with Istanbul. Between 6 and 8 millions tons of freight are transported in both directions along this line.
Airports
- The National Airline Company - Uzbekistan Havo Yullari - has 12 regional airports, besides the Tashkent airport, three of which are capable of receiving international class airplanes. A new airport is also under construction at Uchkuduk - the heart of the principal reserves of mineral resources. The National Airline with 350 aircraft including the modern Airbus A-310 serves many destinations in the CIS, large cities of Europe, North America and Asia, including New Delhi and Amritsar. Currently, the company has 36 representative offices abroad.
Highways - Besides transportation by rail and air, Uzbekistan has over 80,000 kilometers of first-rate highways.
