Kazakhstan Provinces

Hello guys

I donno if im posting in the right place but anyways i need your help.

Actlly im leaving for Kazakhstan with business trip. and before goin there
i was asked to do a little research about provinces of Kazakhstan.

I need to to get an information about each Province and its major industries.

For example Karaganda is an industrial city, built to exploit nearby coal mines..... Shymkent has industries producing refined zinc, processed karakul pelts, textiles, foodstuffs, and pharmaceuticals... like that..

I am having a big difficulty to find materials onthe web..

If you guys know something about Kazakhstan provinces please help me

additional question: How can I get to Shymkent from Tashkent?
By Car or by Train? which one is easier / bette?
